It’s hard to believe it, but we have winter in Central Florida. Everybody get out their favorite boots and jackets, scarves and gloves. Perfect time to enjoy hot cocoa! 
But what about homeless people?
This year, the ladies of Change Through Giving teamed up with FOCUS group (Fellowship of Orthodox Christians United to Serve) to prepare and serve hot meals and sort and distribute toiletries, shoes and clothing for homeless people in downtown Orlando. We were able to donate much needed blankets for those cold nights as well as a variety of clothing items.
We know we were not able to help all the homeless people out there, but we feel better that some of them were able to have a hot meal that evening and get much needed items. Although we were there for only one night as volunteers, the people with FOCUS are out there supporting this cause with a crew of volunteers on a regular basis. Thanks to everyone there for all that you do!
