In April of 2009 CTG members made a repeat visit to the residents of Westminster Care of Delaney Park. It doesn’t take much to brighten the day of the elderly. Just a simple homemade card, along with a big smile, gentle laugh and a good ear for listening was all it takes to make the day of this sometimes forgotten population of elderly in our community.
The ladies at CTG went room to room offering up some conversation otherwise known as “girl talk”, story telling with the guys, and friendship to all who welcomed us. Candy is always appreciated no matter what age and we came equipped with handmade containers with sweet treats for people already sweetened by life experiences.
